Conservation

Ecclesiastical buildings such as historic churches and cathedrals represent the heart of a community. Our commitment to faithfully replicate and restore the work of previous generations master craftsmen has seen us working on a wide range of challenging projects.

Whether recreating the delicate grandeur of tracery windows at St Alban's R C Church. Macclesfield or crafting replacement pinnacles for Trinity College, Cambridge, we work with precision and skill. At Mather & Ellis, we have the capacity to project manage entire restoration projects for cathedrals and churches. Our skilled craftsmen carefully remove and conserve ornate and historic tracery windows, altars and pulpits, in addition to dumaniling and rebuilding entire spire and towers. All this work undertaken by inhouse fully trained specialized craftmen defines us as the complete package.
